In Room(s): Meditation Hall

This unique workshop based on Acharya Susan Chapman's new book entitled The Five Keys to Mindful Communication,  will explore the principles of Contemplative Psychology (including the Five Buddha Family principles) and includes a practice known as Mudra Space Awareness, a radical set of body-mind meditations designed by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. Using simple methods and metaphors, participants learn to identify toxic conversation patterns and transform fear-based reactions into opportunities for making friends with ourselves -- as well as each other. The workshop includes short talks, small group dialogues, Mudra Space Awareness exercises and mindfulness meditation.
